Flower Bouquet Kozuka 

This type of flower bouquet is a theme we see in Japanese sword fittings from time to time.  This differs from ikebana, which depicts a flower basket.  The quality of the Shaukdo nanako and iroe lead us to Goto School.  Probably early Edo Period.  This kozuka was mounted on a very nice katana.  The owner decided to adjust the futakoramono for a matching theme.

Comes in kiriwood box.
